QR Transfer turns a block of text into a QR code you can scan from another device's camera. It's built for the moment two devices can't share a clipboard — a locked-down work laptop and your phone, a kiosk and a tablet, two machines on different networks. Nothing is uploaded: the text only ever exists as pixels on your screen.
Raw vs Compressed. Raw mode encodes your text as a plain QR code that any scanner app can read, with room for about 900 characters. Compressed mode runs the text through lz-string first, so a single code can carry roughly 8 KB — and beyond that it switches to an animated multi-frame QR (up to ~50 KB) that the Siazly scanner reassembles automatically.
Text and files. Paste text, or upload any file — a PDF, image, spreadsheet, ZIP, anything. Small text becomes a single QR; larger text and files are compressed, split into a looping sequence of QR frames and shown at a speed you choose. On the receiving device, open this same page, switch to Scan, hold the camera on the looping code until every frame is collected, then tap Done and pick a format to rebuild the exact original file.
Privacy. Everything runs in your browser. There is no server, no account and no tracking — the QR code is the only thing that leaves your device, and only to the camera you point at it.
